Its Me Moi Sticker by Hannah Daisy

LaTeciara “Venu$(C.)” Gordon is a Charleston native turned Brooklyn creative powerhouse, independently building an empire that spans music, writing, fashion, event production, and beyond. She credits her mother for the sacrifices she made as a single parent, and by age 12, Venu$ was already excelling in writing, acting, and music. At 23, she fully committed to her artistry and hasn’t looked back.

Her creative journey began with words. In 2022, she self-published Blackest of Berries on Amazon and was later invited to perform at the BlackLIT Book Fair in Fayetteville, NC. That same year, she dropped the Why’d I Wait visualizer, and since then, she’s released singles like Backseat Cooling, Falling Again, Family Matters, and most recently Like Nike, which she premiered at the Go Crazy Festival in Brooklyn. She is currently working on her debut album, a body of work that blends remastered gems with new tracks that tell a raw story of growing up and navigating life’s highs and lows.

Music is only one side of her vision. In May 2024, Venu$ launched the VIBE Concert, bringing together 20 independent artists from across the country for a sold-out event in Brooklyn. She returned with another packed showcase in May 2025, including a fashion show and vendor market, further cementing VIBE as a staple platform for rising talent. August 2025, she co-launched No Gatekeepin’ with Kyle The Hooligan, a collaborative platform dedicated to artist empowerment. She also made her runway debut at New York Fashion Week for Oldhafer Studios, proving her versatility extends to fashion as well.

Venu$ is also no stranger to the stage and screen. A national finalist in Dramatic Interpretation at the National Forensics League tournament in Salt Lake City, she honed her performance skills through high school theater before signing briefly with Carolina Talent. She’s appeared as an extra in the movie Paper Towns (shot at her high school), as well as commercials for Food Lion and Belk’s. In 2023, she played Gloria in the short series The Death of Me on Patreon. Most recently, she starred in the comedy variety show Shayaya at NYC’s iconic $3 Bill venue under the direction of Melissa Harris.

Through it all, one thing remains constant: she does it all herself. From photography and videography to editing, flyer design, event planning, social media strategy, branding, PR, and publishing—LaTeciara is the definition of a modern mogul. She doesn’t just create; she builds, connects, and redefines what it means to be independent.

As Simone Biles once said, “I was built this way for a reason, so I’m going to use it.” That’s the ethos Venu$ lives by.
